For the ones that already got their hands on a Dreambear closed beta card, the registration form will be online in a couple of days.
Dreambear (and Weber) will be present at the Festival of Games (3rd and 4th of june in Utrecht, the Netherlands) where we will finally unveil Dreambear to the world with the launch of our closed-beta. If you want to participate in this beta, the special Dreambear beta website will come online in a couple of days.
Wow! Time flies when you’re having fun. The team at WEBER is hard at work finishing up all their projects in december, so we can pick up the development of Dreambear at the start of 2010.
We’ve added some new screens and music to our Dreambear trailer for the Gamescom. If you’re looking for a high-res version of the trailer, click here to download (54 mb)

That’s right, we’ll be showing our new Dreambear trailer and a playable beta version at the Gamescom in Cologne. WEBER Sites & Games can be found at the Holland Pavilion (hall 02) on the 19th until 21th of August. If you want to meet us there, send an email to roel@webersg.nl
A lot of people at the Festival of Games asked me if they could get a copy of the Dreambear presentation we made for the GDC ‘09, so we decided to put the trailer online. Since we like to give people a choice, we’ve put up a hi-res version to download and a Youtube version which you can view online.

Dreambear is featured in the 12th issue of Control Magazine, in an article about the freedom of players in virtual worlds. We were very happy to see our artwork full-blown on the first page of the article (and not forgetting the huge blue bear on the back of the cover). The whole article can be found here (sorry, Dutch only).
Cheers!
Roel
