Zeppelin docks with color correction, much better
The first color version of the Zeppelin dock. Looking back, we weren’t entirely happy how the colors turned out to be in the first version of the dock. Since it was the first thing players saw when entering Dreamtown, we decided to make some color corrections.
Finally! We got the location up that connects Dreamtown with the Candystore. But that’s not the only important part of this location. It’s also the home of the Bank, where players can store extra items they want to keep, but not carry with them. Although this place is pretty colorful and happy, you can already spot the dark clouds in the distance that hover around the tower of prince Growl. Ooooh…scary!

Behold! The final color version of the time square. Well…sort of final version anyway, since we still need some kickass icons to mark the carpenter store. Time square is located between the statue square (our very first background) and the palace square. This background wasn’t in the original design plan, but we felt that the transition between the ‘Statue’ and the ‘Palace’ was a bit rough so we added an extra square to connect both. That’s how we roll!
Cheers!

Here’s the linework for a new place in Dreamtown: Time square! It holds the
great clock (where players can read the time if they want to role-play and
not look at their computer clock
) and the carpenter store (where players can buy furniture for the own home).
Cheers!

Tada! The coloring for the Main Square is finally done and it instantly became one of my favourites places in the Dreambear world (along with the candystore hehe). The Science Center and the Great Library are located in the middle of the Main Square. Meanwhile, all preparations for the Gamescom are done as well so we have a bit of time to relax before the 19th of august.

Nadia once again did a great job with the colors of the barbershop. Here’s a picture of the finished result. Meanwhile Myron is busy adding the new content and theme song for the Dreambear trailer for the Gamescom in Cologne next month.

No big city is complete without a decent barbershop. Here’s a first look at the line-art from the upcoming barbershop in Dreambear. I will post a new version as soon as the coloring process is complete. Meanwhile, our friends at B-wave are hard at work developing the first set of music for the Dreambear world. Can’t wait
Cheers!
